Looking to grow?

If you are thinking about growing your business then you're certainly not alone.  Research shows that just under half of all businesses in England plan to expand within the next two years.  In South Tyneside alone that means around 1,400 businesses.

Sometimes growth is planned as a key stage in development, while at other times it happens more naturally as part of the ongoing life of the business.  It's an exciting time for any business, but it's also one that comes with challenges as well as opportunities.

Growing too quickly can leave you overstretched and impact on quality of service, not to mention cashflow and finance.  On the other hand, restricting your growth can mean you're not in a position to take full advantage of the potential market for your products or services and miss out on significant financial benefits.

So it's about finding the right way to grow and the right time to grow, that's something only you can decide.

Very few businesses want to stand still.  New competitors, new markets, advances in technology and changes in the way we communicate are just some of the reasons why managing growth is one of the key issues faced by many of those running their own business.

Sometimes it helps to get an external view.  We're never going to know your business as well as you do, but we do understand business and that's where we can help.  Having the benefit of a different perspective can add real value to your plans, giving you information and advice on key areas and helping you make the right decisions at the right time.
